About 2 years and 3 months ago I started a huge painting project.
I am trying to paint a 1500 point Imperial guard army. It means that army will have 80-90 infantry soldiers (guardsmen, veterans, command squads etc.), 4-5 vehicles (sentinels, leman russ, Basilisk etc.). So far I have painted 21 infantry soldiers and 2 vehicles so only about 25% of my army is painted.
My problem isn't that I am lazy painter. I am trying to complete two other painting projects at a same time (Blood bowl team and wolfen pack). But the biggest problem is that I spend way too much time at painting every single miniature. I always use 4-5 hours per guardsman, 6+ hours at every officer and sergeant and 20+ hours at every vehicle. It means that complete army will take about 480 hours to paint. It's 2 weeks and 6 days.
It looks like I still have a lot painting to do.

Soon I have completed Basilisk tank. I will put pictures from it and from all my completed imperial guard miniatures to my gallery when I have a camera.
